Data Deletion Policy

Your Right to Delete Data

At Vibe Flyers, we respect your right to control your personal data. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time.

What Data Gets Deleted

When you request account deletion, we will remove:

  • Your account information (name, email, profile data)
  • Personal preferences and settings
  • Uploaded flyers and images
  • GPS location data from proof submissions
  • Messages and communications

Data We May Retain

For legal and operational reasons, we may retain certain data:

  • Transaction records for tax and accounting purposes (7 years)
  • Data required for ongoing legal disputes or investigations
  • Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
  • Backup copies (automatically deleted within 90 days)

How to Request Deletion

Option 1: In-App Deletion
Delete your account directly from your settings
  1. Log in to your account
  2. Go to Settings → Account
  3. Click "Delete Account"
  4. Confirm deletion
Option 2: Email Request
Contact us to request deletion

Send an email to support@vibeflyers.com with:

  • Your account email
  • Subject: "Data Deletion Request"
  • We'll respond within 30 days

Deletion Timeline

  • Immediate: Your account is deactivated and you can no longer log in
  • Within 30 days: Most personal data is permanently deleted from active systems
  • Within 90 days: Data is removed from backup systems

Important Notes

  • ⚠️ Deletion is permanent - You cannot recover your account after deletion
  • 💰 Complete pending transactions - Resolve all active campaigns before deletion
  • 📧 You'll receive confirmation - We'll email you when deletion is complete
